Leg-It is the world’s first adjustable leg controller. It’s made for those who are limited in their use of hands, gamers, pc enthusiasts, streamers, workers and musicians. It is 3D printable, so you can adjust it to your needs with the extensions created by us. It is programmable, so it can be used for different applications and devices.

With Leg-It you can control 2 or 4 more functions. Leg-It has two buttons in total, while Leg-It Pro has 4. Our goal was to use highly sensitive buttons, so it will immediately trigger your input command. We did not want to use another type of switch mechanism, because it wouldn’t be responsive enough for gaming. This type of button doesn’t require too much force to press down, so we designed the stiffness of the top part to be adjustable.

Leg-It Basic

The secondary buttons on Leg-It Pro should press sideways to achieve a minimum amount of required movement. To make it ergonomic to your feet, it’s designed to support your heel, which also ensures the constant foot position for the buttons. This way you will never miss a button. The secondary button is also adjustable sideways.
Leg-It is adjustable in length, so everybody can set it to their shoe size.

To make all this possible, we decided to get into crowdfunding. We need your help to make all this happen. If you are interested, please sign up for our newsletter.

Programable buttons

Using both your legs you can control 2 or 4 more functions. The Leg-It has two buttons in total, while the Leg-It Pro has 4. Our goal was to use highly sensitive buttons, so it will immediately trigger your input. We did not want to use other types of switch mechanisms, because it would not be responsive enough for gaming. This type of button doesn’t require too much force to press down, so we designed the top part to have adjustable stiffness.

Adjustable length

Customizable stiffness

To reach everyone’s expectations about the stiffness, we designed the thickness of the top part to be adjustable.

Anti-slip pads

A few users experienced slips while using side keys. For this, we came up with an anti-slip solution by adding flexible pads. This is optional in case of using a dock because it’s also fixing the pedals.

Video game editions

(Reached $20.000)

When we reach the first milestone, we will make 5 different game editions for Leg-It Plus and Leg-It Pro voted by you.

Adjustable side key position

(Reached $40.000)

Everybody has different feet width. For this customization we have to make the side key adjustable. The adjustability of the side key is ensured by a screw.

Adjustable side key sensitivity with springs

(Reached $50.000)

Gamers love to customize their platform to their needs. This will help adjusting the stiffness of the side keys.

RGB Led

(Reached $30.000)

Lights for the pedals to fit your PC station design.

Wireless connectivity

(Reached $45.000)

Nobody loves cables. With bluetooth we can make it wireless.

Shoe verison

Our current design can't be used with shoes. This pedal could be used for outside applications with shoes.

By supporting our project you will also help us keep continuing our work, so we can make awesome and fun products. If you have a friend who is interested, please share with them, because we think that our product can make life happier to some people.

The Story

It has been a while since we made the first car, which we could control with our legs. Everybody knows that it’s a bit hard in the beginning to use pedals, but once we get used to it, we can feel that car.

We always try to be better and faster. Since I started using PCs, especially when I was a photo editor for FIFA, I tried to improve my computing skills using different techniques, such as macros. One of my ideas was to input commands with my legs too. After finishing my studies in mechatronics, I realized that I can make my dream come true.
I noticed that there isn’t any peripheral that would be adjustable to fit my needs. None of them is ergonomic enough to ensure a precise input platform. I don't like the solutions with sensors, because it lacks the feel of mechanical touch, thus it’s even harder to use.
We have been developing a game last year and we experienced first hand, what kind of limitations regular peripherals have. Some game genres, especially FPS games get more complicated these days. Leg-It could open up opportunities for game developers if there’s gonna be enough interest.

Enforcement

We decided to design it for 3D printing because we see huge opportunities in this branch of technology (Read more). It’s professional in various aspects, like functionality, look, ease of use, compatibility, adjustability and presenting.
That’s why we work in a team.

Designed by us, customized by you!
We believe that if we give the people the opportunity to make their own products, it becomes more affordable by everyone.

Requested parts:

3D printed parts
Arduino Uno
Buttons
Bolts and nuts
Cables

Currently, Leg-It is powered by Arduino Uno. To get recognized by the PC, we had to change the firmware on the Arduino.
The cables drop out of the Arduino easily with the standard cables. Because of this, we designed a case, that’s fixing the cables in place. Download here.

The Dock
For Leg-It we designed a dock that enables adjusting the angle of both pedals from 0 to 30 degrees. The cables can be directed to go underneath the dock for a sleeker look.
The Arduino case has a holder on the dock where it can slide in. This design is necessary to easily use the Leg-It with or without the dock. In case you don't like the dock, you can still use the Arduino holder to fix it onto the wall and to your desk.

We hope that with this product we can show you, what great opportunities lie with 3D printed products. Small ideas can get big with 3D printing. Join us and we will change the world.

We designed it to be packed and carried comfortably because every part can be easily separated from the dock.

Portable design

adjustabletilt.png

Some users would like to use the pedals tilted for more comfort. For this, we made the dock with a 0 to 30 degrees adjustable tilt.

Better experience

For those, who want to see it in one piece this is a great solution. The cables can be hidden underneath it and overall, it’s a nicer look for your PC station

Cleaner unified look

The pedals are attached to the dock, so they can’t move by accident. This holder also ensures the rotation of the pedals.
